A Safe, Supportive Home for Your Family

What to Expect at Brent’s Place

We know that facing a medical crisis can be overwhelming, and finding a safe, welcoming place to stay should not add to your worries. Brent’s Place is here to provide comfort, stability, and community while your loved one receives medical care in Denver.

Many families wonder how the intake process works. Here’s what you need to know:

How Families Are Selected: We work closely with hospital social workers to identify families in need and create a priority list based on medical urgency and availability.

How to Apply: If you believe Brent’s Place is the right fit for your family, ask your hospital social worker to reach out to our Family Support team. If eligible, we’ll provide an application through your social worker.

Next Steps: Once we receive your application, a Family Support team member will contact you to discuss availability, schedule your check-in, and answer any questions.

Your First Day: During check-in, we’ll walk you through our support programs, amenities, and community spaces, ensuring you feel comfortable in your new home away from home.

We understand that this is a challenging time, and we’re here to help. If you have any questions, please contact our Family Support Director at 720-343-2956. We look forward to welcoming you to Brent’s Place!

Keeping Families Together in Times of Crisis

We believe maintaining an intact family structure is crucial to each family member’s health and well-being. Unlike other hospitality options, Brent’s Place apartments offer a private living space large enough to safely support up to seven family members, promoting stability and connectivity as families face unthinkable challenges.

Safe-Clean Accommodations

Each fully furnished Brent’s Place apartment, no matter the location, meets stringent Safe-Clean requirements, developed collaboratively with world-class medical experts. These standards minimize patient exposure to bacteria and other airborne toxins (ex. mold) found in all public spaces, including the hotels and rental properties which serve as the primary alternative housing option for patients who travel far from home in search of life-saving medical care.
