Brent’s Place is a long-term home away from home for families of pediatric and adult patients undergoing treatment for life-threatening illnesses at leading hospitals in the Denver Metro area.
Better Together ❤️
For over 25 years, Brent’s Place has been a lifeline for families facing the unthinkable. Our medically safe housing is more than just a place to stay – it’s a sanctuary where hope, stability, and community come together during life’s most challenging moments. Here’s what we provide:
Every year, countless families are forced to relocate to the Denver Metro area in search of life-saving treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses that are unavailable in their hometowns. In the midst of a medical emergency, finding safe and affordable housing can be an overwhelming challenge. That’s where Brent’s Place steps in.
Since 1998, we have supported more than 2,000 families from across the nation, ensuring they have access to critical medical care without the stress of housing and financial uncertainty.
Our vision is clear: Every family facing a life-threatening illness should have access to the best chance of survival.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, we provide a haven where families can stay as long as needed, free from housing costs or added financial strain. This allows caregivers to focus entirely on their loved one’s treatment and recovery, free from the stress of relocation, meals, and other essential needs.
What began as a mission to support pediatric bone marrow transplant patients has grown into a beacon of hope for hundreds of families each year. Brent’s Place now offers medically safe living accommodations across two campuses, welcoming families of pediatric and adult patients traveling to Denver for life-saving treatments.
With expanded admissions criteria and a commitment to increasing our capacity, Brent’s Place continues to make a profound impact – rooted in Colorado, but reaching families from across the region, nation, and even the globe.
We provide fully furnished, medically safe apartments that meet rigorous cleanliness standards to protect immunocompromised patients during their medical treatment away from home.
We provide customized, trauma-informed support to help families overcome the logistical, emotional, and financial challenges that arise during treatment.
Our dedicated team fosters a nurturing community where families can connect, share experiences, and find strength through meaningful bonds with others facing similar challenges.

When 15-year-old Olivia's unexpected aplastic anemia diagnosis required her family to leave Montana for life-saving treatment in Colorado, Brent's Place provided not just a Safe-Clean home near the hospital, but a supportive community where both she and her mother found comfort during her bone marrow transplant journey.
