The Food and Hospitality Manager is a newly created, mission-critical role responsible for overseeing all food operations and experiences – current and future – at Brent’s Place. This is a rare opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up. As the Food and Hospitality Manager, you define how food, hospitality, and human connection come together to support families during a medical crisis. You inherit an exceptional foundation—a dedicated Chef, a thriving Grab N’ Go and Food pantry, committed volunteers, and three weekly meal services—and shape it into something even more impactful as Brent’s Place prepares for significant growth, exploring opportunities such as a potential coffee shop and bodega.
Blending hands-on operational leadership with strategic thinking and implementation, the Food and Hospitality Manager supports and empowers volunteers, creates and strengthens systems and processes throughout food services, and prepares the program for significant future growth and increased impact on the family experience at Brent’s Place. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both day-to-day execution and long-term innovation.
This role goes beyond food service—it is about creating a comprehensive hospitality program that increases access to healthy food and beverages and delivers comfort, well-being, and a sense of home to families in medical crisis. The Food and Hospitality Manager plays a vital role in creating interactions and opportunities that help families experience happiness and stability.
