Sean MeyerhofferExecutive Director, Brent Eley FoundationAfter more than five years at the American Cancer Society, Sean joined Brent’s Place as Executive Director. During his first two years with the American Cancer Society, Sean served as a grass roots community relationship manager throughout the Denver area and was responsible for outreach and education, volunteer recruitment and management, and the planning and coordination of fundraising events. For the last 3 years, Sean served as the Distinguished Events Director for the 12 State Great West Division of the American Cancer Society. In this role, Sean developed and implemented strategic plans for several fundraising initiatives throughout the Division, trained and supported leadership staff and volunteers, and participated in several national workgroups to establish and share fundraising best practices throughout the American Cancer Society. Sean’s community involvement includes volunteering his time with the American Cancer Society, Generations Cancer Foundation, The Children’s Hospital Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, and the Colorado Kids Cancer Association. |

Allen BrowningFamily Services ManagerAllen has a varied background in nonprofit management and volunteer direction. He holds a B.S. in Music Management from the University of Evansville and a M.A. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University. His experience working in volunteer management and development at an HIV/AIDS clinic gave Allen the passion to help patients and their families in times of crisis as well as helping others fulfill their desire to give back through volunteer service. His education and experience brings both compassion and understanding for our families and energy and new ideas for our programs. |

Bridget FitzpatrickDevelopment Director Bridget grew up in Evergreen, CO and ventured off to the University of Kansas to pursue degrees in Political Science and International Studies. Her passion for helping people through change, paired with her young political ambitions, took her to Washington D.C. After a year, Bridget discovered the sun doesn't shine quite as it does in Colorado. She promptly returned with her new career aspirations - working with nonprofits. After six years of development and fundraising experience with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado, Bridget joined Brent's Place to help establish a comprehensive fundraising program to ensure growth and long-term sustainability. She recently graduated with her Masters in Nonprofit Management from Regis University and sits on the Penny Harvest Advisory Board for the Young Philanthropists Foundation. Her passion combined with her experience and education makes Brent's Place the terrific fit. Bridget enjoys traveling, live music, reading, sports, films and trying new restaurants around town with friends.

Lynnda SimpsonBusiness ManagerWith experience in both medical office and non-profit sectors, Lynnda’s skills and interests blend well to meet the needs of Brent’s Place. Lynnda holds a B.S. in Sociology from East Central University in Ada, OK and has enjoyed participating in continuing education coursework in non-profit management, event planning, grant writing and human resources. She spends time volunteering for dog rescues, teaching a class for teens, camping, reading and cooking. |

Emily Roembach-ClarkGrants CoordinatorEmily Roembach-Clark began volunteering at Brent's Place in 2009 when her interest in medicine and community support for kids was sparked after caring for a spectacular little girl diagnosed with cancer. After volunteering and being a summer intern, Emily is thrilled to be part of the Brent's Place team now as a part-time employee. She has a degree in psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, MA, and is currently completing pre-medical coursework at University of Colorado. She is: fascinated by neuropsychology, a horseback rider planning a cross-country riding trip through Iceland, an amateur photographer, and a book-a-holic. |

Jimmy HowePrograms Coordinator Jimmy Howe is a Denver native, and holds a B.A. in music from Concordia University in Irvine, CA. He has served as a professional church worker, and most recently, as a barista at Starbucks. Jimmy was drawn to Brent's Place as a result of his love for people and a desire to make a lasting impact for the families in this special community. When he is not at Brent's Place, Jimmy enjoys singing in choirs, directing choirs, playing classical and jazz piano, sipping lattes, and laughing with friends.

Mary KamauOvernight Monitor Mary has worked as an administrative assistant in the non-profit field for seven years and has supervised and worked closely with volunteers. She has also worked in the home health care industry as a certified nurse assistant for three years. Mary is easy-going, compassionate, patient, loving and thoughtful. She is easily accessible and ready to help at any time. |
